“I started working in the kitchen industry in 1981, designing kitchens for Alno and Poggenpohl. After becoming a Certified Kitchen Designer in 1990, I set up my own independent kitchen design company. In 2001, I became a director in King’s Kitchen Design, and have continued to expand my client base, both in New Zealand and overseas.
“Kitchens have always interested me, even from an early age, when I was growing up in Europe. The European aesthetic has had, and continues to have a big influence on me – it is primary driver of what I do now. I love their use of clean lines and their use of simple, beautiful materials.
